Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackYour video does cover a few important happenings in Rembrandt’s life, as an artist along with being a human being, while showing a few of his important works of art. It does amaze me though how many of the art patrons really do not understand in actuality some of the real happenings in this artists life. I’m talking about His marriage to his wife Saskia lasting for eight years up until her early death at the age of 29, the early loses of three of their children and the sickness which plagued their son Titus his whole life, after the death of his mother right up till his own early death of about 27. Some you’d think might want to know what actually really happened with all the inheritance he should have received after his wifes Saskia’s early death. There were many things which drug this great artist into his own bankruptcy, which would be rather clear to the courts and prosecutors of this day and age. Oh, by the way,… Rembrandt painted all of his own confession and the confession of his Mistress Hendrickje Stoffels in all his works of art, having anything to do with happening which Rembrandt seemed so obsessed with painting.
Cheers!
