This video demonstrates the usefulness and potential of using multiple cursors at once. While other multitouch implementations, such as the iPhone, require special applications, MPX allows the user to use up to 18 cursors with any program. This becomes very helpful when teaching new users how to use programs, or just for increasing your own productivity.
This video is from 2006, when MPX support was just beginning. Now it almost complete, and it will be a default part of many Linux distributions once X.org 7.5 is released.
