The Bush administration has launched a “significant escalation” of covert operations in Iran, sending U.S. Special Operation Units to spy on the country’s nuclear facilities and undermine the Iranian government, journalist Seymour Hersh said Sunday.

Just recently another $400 Million of funds has been appropriated with the full consent and knowledge of the Democrats in Washington who were elected to end the war in Iraq. The details of these military operations inside Iran have been kept secret from The Congress and from top military commanders responsible for overall strategy of the war in the Middle East.

These activities appear to be run from a second chain of command coming from the Vice Presidents office.
