In September of 1957, Pro-Segregation Riots Drew Federal Troops to Little Rock, Arkansas. Arkansas governor orders the National Guard to block the entrance to a high school desegregated by the Supreme Court; segregationists from surrounding southern states converge upon the state and incite rioting despite the fact the black students had been turned away.
